WIRE Mentorship Program
Every year, a select group of women will participate in WIRE’s flagship mentorship and networking program. Women in senior leadership positions are paired with early-mid career women for guidance in the clean energy sector on how to make the most of their professional opportunities.
The WIRE Mentorship Program runs for two years with a mentor-mentee structured cohort, with mentees becoming mentors for the second year. The cohort as a whole participates in monthly training sessions and convenes annually. More than 80 women have participated in the program so far, and alumni continue to have an impact beyond the network on the ground in their localities.
If you are interested in participating in the 2022–2023 cohort, please submit your application by October 13, 2022.
A Note for Current WIRE Members
The WIRE Network was developed by CARILEC and the Clinton Climate Initiative to empower women working in energy in Island nations. In 2022, the Energy Transition Academy began to oversee the WIRE Network. Our team is currently developing a customized forum for WIRE members – we thank you for your patience. Kindly read more about the transfer in management here.
